Apple Cinnamon Roses


What you’ll need..


  • An Apple
  • 1 Roll of Puff Pastry
  • 2 Table Spoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Table Spoons White Sugar
  • 2 Table Spoons Honey
  • 1 Table Spoon Cinnamon
  • A cup of water
  • Icing sugar (decoration)



  1. Cut the Apple in half and then cut into thin slices. Put the thinly sliced apple pieces in a bowl with a cup of water and 2 table spoons of white sugar, mix. Put in the microwave for 2 minutes. Drain when done and set aside. 

  2. Roll out the Puff Pastry and cut into about 8 equal strips. With each strip; spread some honey on half the strip, neatly arrange apple slices over the honey covered area, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the remaining area. Fold the pastry over part of the apple and roll gently into a rose. Place in cupcake baking tin. Brush with egg wash. 

  3. Bake at 200° C for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
